USA Baseball National Team Identification Series Great Lakes RegionIllinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
For the second year in a row, USA Baseball is proud to present the National Team Identification Series (NTIS) in 2010, once again offering the organization’s most comprehensive evaluation of talent ever in the 13U, 15U and 17U age groups.

If a location does not have a date it will be added shortly. Cost is $175 per player. Go to the right of the this page and click on  Great Lakes National Team Identification Series and you will see the register form along with more information. Fill out the registration form, include the states and location you are attending and mail a check to  Caliendo Sports, PO. Box 68013, Schaumburg, Illinois 60168. You will then receive an e-mail confirming your spot. Registration is limited to 30 player per age group at each location.

There will be two day work outs throughout each state will be focused on inviting baseball players 18 under, 16 under and 14 under to identify the top 18 players for each age group to compete in September in Cary, North Carolina, headquarters of USA Baseball, our national governing body and head of our USA National Teams. USA Staff will be in North Carolina to identify possible national players.

The work outs will include the following things for players:

Evaluate individual players skills.

Evaluate individual game skills.

Make adjustments and comments in players skills.

Educate parents on developing players skills.

Players will receive a USA NTIS Great Lakes Region T-shirt.

Top coaches working the workouts to work with the players.

Players will be tested in agility, strength and flexibility.

Players will be evaluated at their top 2 positions.

Each camp is limited to 30 players in each age group.

Players and parents will receive a booklet with a lotof advice on baseball development and how to train properly.

You could be selected for a Caliendo Sports Internationals baseball teams which travel around the world for competition.

Times to attend per each age group.

14 under, 8:30 am registration, 9 am start-11:00 am

16 under, 10:30 check in, 11:30 start-1:30 pm

18 under, 1:00 pm check in, 2 pm start-4 pm end

There will be 2-3 locations listed in each state in one more week, This was posted is 3/17/10.
